Meet Our Citronella Soap: Handmade for Summer Adventures

There is something magical about summertime. Long walks through the woods, evenings spent around the campfire, afternoons working in the garden, and quiet moments on the porch remind us why we love this season so much. But as much as we enjoy being outdoors, we also know we're sharing it with mosquitoes and other pesky insects.

That's exactly what inspired me to create our Citronella Soap a summer soap!

Crafted with Nature in Mind

Every bar begins with a carefully balanced blend of skin-loving oils including extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, shea butter, and castor oil. To make it even more nourishing, I added creamy coconut milk, silky kaolin clay, and distilled water before scenting each batch with pure citronella essential oil.

About Citronella: A Summer Soap

Citronella essential oil has been enjoyed for generations because of its fresh, bright citrus aroma. It has become a summertime favorite for people spending time outdoors and is commonly found in candles, sprays, and personal care products.

While many people enjoy citronella products during mosquito season, this soap is not intended to replace insect repellants. Instead, it offers a wonderfully fresh, clean scent that makes it a perfect companion after gardening, hiking, camping, or simply enjoying a day outside.

Handmade the Traditional Way

Every batch of soap I make is handcrafted in small quantities using the traditional cold process method. After pouring, each loaf is carefully cut by hand and cured for several weeks, allowing the soap to become long-lasting and gentle.

No two bars are ever exactly alike.

Those little differences are part of what makes handmade soap so special.
