MY JOURNEY

My journey into natural skincare began as a young teenager, fascinated by the idea that everyday ingredients could be transformed into nourishing skin and hair care products. Many late nights were spent in my parents’ kitchen experimenting with herbs, oils, botanicals, and fresh ingredients—creating handmade blends that not only felt wonderful, but truly worked.

Over the years, that passion for creating has continued to grow, inspired by my deep love for nature, wellness, and simple intentional living. Through Soapinapouch & Candles, I’m grateful to share handcrafted products designed to bring comfort, relaxation, and a sense of everyday ritual into your life.

Each product is thoughtfully handcrafted by me in small batches within my studio using carefully selected ingredients that are cruelty-free, sustainable, and gentle on both skin and environment. From botanical oils and rich butters to aromatic essential oils and soothing herbs, every ingredient is chosen with purpose and care.

Giving back has always been close to my heart. Soapinapouch & Candles has proudly supported various causes and local charities over the years. Most importantly, a portion of sales helps support a memorial fund created in honor of my daughter, Elena Jasmir Lozada. Through this fund, her light continues to shine by helping others in meaningful ways.

There is something truly magical about creating by hand—from the spark of an idea to holding the finished product, knowing it may bring comfort, peace, or joy to someone’s day. It is my hope that these handcrafted skincare products, candles, and gifts bring the same warmth and care into your home as they were made with here in Northern Maine.
